Krupsky area is located in the northeast of Minsk region and occupies the territory of 2,1 thousand sq.km. Borders with Berezinsky, Borisovsky, Chashniksky, Tolochinsky, Krugljansky and Belynichsky areas. General information about Krupki: For the first time the settlement Krupki has appeared on the map of Grand duchy Lithuanian, published in Amsterdam in 1613 by T.Makovski. There were many historical events which have brought troubles, hunger, ruin to inhabitants of Krupshky area: invasion of Frenchmen (1812), German occupation (1918, 1941-1944). In May, 1991 the city settlement Krupki has received the city status. Transport communications in Krupki: The city is situated on the river Bobr in 118 km from Minsk. Through the city passes the highway Minsk - Moscow.
