General information about Baranovichi:

In comparison with other Belarusian settlements and places Baranovichi is a young city. For the first time Baranovichi are mentioned in 1706 in connection with building of the Moscow-Brest railway. In 1871 year operation of the railway station with the same name has begun. Today Baranovichi -is the second-large city of Brest region, with the developed mechanical engineering, chemical, the food-processing industry.
